Today we’re making our biggest update to Preptrack since we first launched in June 2021. Thanks to support from Public Health Wales (PHW) in relation to their HIV Action Plan, Preptrack is now available for Android as well as iPhone.

We’ve been working towards this day for a long time and we’re very excited that Preptrack will now be able to help many more people to stay on top of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV prevention. Improving access to PrEP and helping more people to use PrEP effectively is a key part of preventing the spread of HIV and ultimately ending the global epidemic.

Preptrack is still completely free and is available now to download from Google Play and the App Store. From today, you can now also use Preptrack in Welsh, just install the latest update and then go to your device’s settings to make the change. Thanks again to the team at PHW for providing the translations and for creating a Welsh version of this blog for us too.

We have many more plans for the next stage of development for Preptrack but, as always, we’re open to your suggestions and requests for features, just visit our Product Roadmap to add your ideas.

Cyflwyno Preptrack ar gyfer Android

Heddiw rydyn ni’n gwneud y diweddariad mwyaf i Preptrack ers i ni ei lansio am y tro cyntaf ym mis Mehefin 2021. Diolch i gefnogaeth gan Iechyd Cyhoeddus Cymru mewn perthynas â’u Cynllun Gweithredu ar HIV, mae Preptrack nawr ar gael ar gyfer Android yn ogystal ag iPhone. Rydyn ni wedi bod yn gweithio tuag at y diwrnod hwn ers amser maith ac rydyn ni’n gyffrous iawn y bydd Preptrack nawr yn gallu helpu llawer mwy o bobl i aros ar ben proffylacsis cyn-cysylltiad (PrEP) ar gyfer atal HIV. Mae gwella mynediad at PrEP a helpu mwy o bobl i ddefnyddio PrEP yn effeithiol yn rhan allweddol o atal lledaeniad HIV ac, yn y pen draw, rhoi terfyn ar yr epidemig byd-eang.
